Nigerian Man Smuggling Two Pounds Of Heroin In His Bowels Arrested In US
A 47-year-old Nigerian man, Sunday Ogbonu was arrested at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental after arriving in the United States with two pounds of what tested positive for heroin secreted in his bowels.
He was taken to a hospital, where he expelled about 65 latex pellets containing heroin.
Sunday Ogbonu was remanded in federal custody Thursday pending a detention hearing and court records list no attorney for Ogbonu.
